Booking this project was major for Farrell in his career because he was able to work with James Harden on set playing basketball. The audition process was”only two rounds” he said. The first round was just the executives looking at our pictures to select us and then the second round was seeing how we looked in the Adidas gear with James’s new sneaker.” Farrell added.

It was a win/win for Farrell because Adidas started to reclaim their lane with the masses at that time but it was also a nostalgic feeling working with Eastbay. That was a brand Farrell would always look at whenever he got the magazine in the mail. So to get to shoot with an unreleased pair of James Harden sneakers and to do it with Eastbay was the icing on the cake.
